There is a popular meme that references Ralph Wiggum saying, with ignorant positivity, “I’m in danger!”. I saw today that this line actually appeared in a Family Guy episode that crossed over with the Simpsons called Simpson Guy. It is definitely true the line appears in that FG episode. You can find the clip easily, but I am absolutely positive that it’s a reference to the same line being said by Ralph in an older Simpsons episode. Am I crazy? Is it really just from the Family Guy episode and I am misremembering? I am so sure I heard this line long long ago and I very rarely watched Family Guy. Does anyone else remember? ---

This is one of those things that I’m learning for the first time in this post despite seeing most episodes of each show up to a point, but I’m not exactly “shocked.” Just slightly thinking “huh, that is weird.” For the record, it’s clearly the Berenstain Bears because that’s how my teachers pronounced it. ---

This is the first time I’ve heard about this and was immediately puzzled by the idea of it. I know Ralph Wiggum never said this in the first 15+ seasons and no catch phrases seem to have caught on from more recent seasons. I’m Idaho! ---

“My cat’s breath smells like cat food!” is the iconic Ralph line for me. “I’m in danger” does not sound like a Simpsons line for Ralph at all. It totally sounds like a Family Guy line. ---
