What about Jimmy the Scumbag? You know, the guy who was arrested for running a telemarketing scam? Homer took over the scam using an auto dialer. Chief Wiggum: Frankly, I expected more out of Jimmy the Scumbag. ---

There’s a poster that comes with the Simpsons trivia game and is now sold separately in larger size from poster shops that is a group shot of pretty much every Simpsons charcter ever. Sincerely, Little Girl ---

Does anyone know the name of one of the guys who hangs out in Moe’s Tavern? The one I’m wondering about wears a (green?) baseball cap, has glasses and wears a vest. He’s been around since the first season, and I’ve never caught his name. And it’s bugging me. Fenris ---

As I posted my original post, (9/11 - 9:32AM EDT), events were already unfolding, but I had not heard yet. I don’t want any dopers to look at the time and think I was making some insanely poor taste joke about events at the WTC. I was spending my last few moments blissfully unaware of the evil that was happening, fondly remembering a Simpson’s character who happened to work near the WTC. ---

The other guy that’s usually there (has an orange jacket, stringy hair kinda like Homer and always looks drunk) is called Larry the Barfly, although in one episode they identify him as “Joey JoJo Shabadoo”. And Herman (the one-armed Vietnam Vet that’s always smoking) is there a lot, too. I personally hope that Drederick Tatum and his manager, Lucius Sweet, will make another appearance.
