Woohoo, got Clausco and the Ice God last night. I still have a couple snowmen to get (the pets and Homer) but I think I’ll stop putting people on gift card quests and start making some money again. ---

I got Plow King. All that’s left is the Ice God and the monster thing (which I understand just wanders around). Like everyone else. I’m done collecting cards from other towns. It’s too much work on my slow tablet. I’ll keep the people in my town on gift card missions so between them and the Egg Nog barn, between today and the 7th, I’ll still get 10 more spins or so, but that’s it. Once we’re out of the holidays, I’ll go back to hitting the other towns when I’m using my phone, but I’m hoping they put out a fix for the Nexus 10 soon. ---

Saved up 5 spins to have in bulk, and got 4 $1000 spins, and a Marge snowman :smack: Jesus, I hate this freakin’ wheel! I am now going to try to get as many snowmen as possible. I already have a bunch, but if i can’t clear the wheel with stuff I want, i might as well have fun with it. Each of the 4 $1000 spins landed right next to the snow bumble. :smack::smack::smack: ---

That said, I make much more of an effort to get rid of all the gift bags I have to give out than to collect cards – may as well shoot for that last community prize. ---

Have we ever not gotten all of the community prizes? I just assumed it was rigged so we get all of them right by the end of the event. That’s pretty much how it always works out for the events that I’ve been around for. ---

When I last saw it, the rate was such that it looked like we’d miss it by a couple days. I haven’t checked in a while, though. ---

Well after a bunch of $1000 / 50 card spins I finally got something I didn’t have - the Snowball II snowman. Snowcat. Whatever. I guess that’s pretty good; it gives a bonus right? I don’t have yeti, Plow King, or ClausCo., but I just hit 30,000 cards yesterday so at least I will be getting more than one spin a day now. And actually, the $1000 aren’t totally useless since I am very strapped for cash right now. I just got the quest to build Squidport but I can’t even afford to expand my land to the beach let alone build anything. ---

And on Halloween, you got more gremlins from visiting neighbors. If you can get gift bags or coins that way, it’s vanishingly rare (never happened to me). The only source of gift bags seems to be what’s left at your tree (or buying them, I suppose).
