You buy them. I think they’re 10 donuts a piece. I believe that some players have blue as common and pink as uncommon and other players have pink as common and blue as common. Gold eggs can only be found inside pink and blue boxes. ---

I got a basket this morning for free after Homer completed egg stealing, so don’t buy one. I have also seen that we will be given one of the Frink egg generators somewhere along the line (the cheaper one) so don’t buy one of those either. ---

That’s just what I read. If everyone is going to end up with shit tons of blue eggs and a few pink, the pink to blue baskets are going to be a real waste of time. ---

Yeah, everyone is randomly assigned to either the pink or blue eggs as their common egg. I have to say, I really hate this event. Unless they seriously adjust the rate we accumulate eggs, we’ll only get a handful of the gold egg prizes. I think I read somewhere that it will be literally impossible to get Shary Bobbins without copious amounts of donuts, because she doesn’t even become a possibility until you’ve bought a minimum number of gold egg boxes. Lame. Here’s hoping all the complaining will force EA to adjust the odds. What’s the point of making all these prizes if no one but a handful of donut-rich players will be able to get them? I’ve always avoided getting (illicit) free donuts, but this event could push me that way. ---

Yeah I get about 5 pink donuts to every blue one - I’ve already purchased a pink box (100 gold eggs, which seems good) but I’ve only got about 100 blue eggs so far. So I could trade 100 common (pink in my case) for 50 uncommon (blue for me). I’m not sure when it starts to be worth doing that, though. ---

This has been interesting to read, because. I have seen none of this. I put the three on their 24 hour tasks yesterday, but they haven"t finished. Of course, i went to all the other towns today, so I won’t be able to start until tomorrow. What a pain in the ass. ---

That’s what Crazy Cat Lady and Mojo are for: premium players who spend real money on the game (and help fund it). The gold box prizes are fundamentally different in that it would cost serious amounts of donuts to get all of them. Maybe a thousand?
