I was so close to the final prize, I just needed to collect from the last task. I couldn’t connect at work today, and when I got up, it updated. No Satan’s Anvil for me. I can’t believe they didn’t wait until midnight. I am so bummed to have come this close and not got it. ☹ ---

…I was so close to Satan’s Anvil and had worked so hard for it I decided that I used what little donuts I had to buy it before I got hit by the update. The Stonecutters are still running riot over the town, but they probably won’t be there when I wake up in the morning! ---

Yep, I had updates pushed to my tablet this morning and the Stonecutter quests are all gone. Number 1 is still around and has tasks to do. That’s pretty cool. If you have Rex Banner he has a July 4th questline. I read that he will be available in a few days if you don’t have him already. ---

I managed to squeak out one last rollover to 3000 emblems this morning. One device updated, so I made sure to use the other until I got my donuts. I probably could have tried to keep it going for a few more days, but I’m just … well… tapped out. I needed a break and I figured with my luck it would force an update when I had 2800 emblems. Overall, I was very happy with The Stonecutters update. Definitely the best event since Halloween. ---

Thanks to all who added me as friends! I’ve got a few donuts to spend and was thinking of improving my multiplier. The bench seems to give the best % to donut rate at 0.5% for 7 donuts. Before I spend and potentially waste this precious commodity, is the bonus cumulative for the same item? Will I get 1% for two benches or is it 0.5% for having a bench and additional benches do nothing? Thanks ---

You could have 8,000 white picket fences to boost your multiplier, but it’s a shame when so much of the premium content is better. Also, the bench is NOT the best donut to multiplier ratio. The most boost per donut are the following: Homer’s hammock White picket fence Tire fire Police car Burns limo News van ---

The bench and white fences you can get for free in Mystery Boxes too. We also get multiplier decorations sometimes during events. I have 54% bonus. 5 is for having 5 stars and I think it’s 3.75% for Kodos’ crashed UFO, but the rest is all from stuff I’ve gotten for free. While a high multiplier is helpful, you have to spend a LOT of donuts before you notice a difference in your income. So go for fun stuff that looks good to you because 2% a day for real cash isn’t going to help much just to earn in-game cash. You’d be better off house farming to generate income, which is also good for your neighbors to have more options to tap. ---

Right you are, the others do give a better %. But good points both. Maybe I’ll save up for a character or perhaps get Homer Buddhas for a chance at something decent. ---

Homer Buddhas are like throwing your donuts away. Seriously. If you want to gamble, buy a couple of the .99 cent scratchers. I’ve gotten the 50 donut prize a couple times and once got the 100 donut jackpot. ---
