DO NOT UPDATE IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY. Many people, including me, reverted back to level 56 and lost all our work and purchases. EA is allegedly working on a fix but DO NOT DO THE APP STORE UPDATE until it is 100% fixed. ---

I didn’t revert back to level 56, but I’m not getting my track pieces either I should have gotten 2 pieces at 5000 - I’ve earned about 17,000 so far and nothing. How am I supposed to complete the tasks and get doughnuts (mmmm…doughnuts) if it won’t let you advance? Has this been happening to anyone else? ---

It’s not officially fixed yet. Most people on the EA forums who contacted EA said they were told a few days and things would be returned (like my missing Belle) and fixed. Some people are reporting zero problems, so it’s a matter of how much of a chance you want to take. This was a super bug-a-licious take down. ---

…logged in once today and it took me about two minutes to tap on about 20 houses before it crashed on me. The splash screen is back to normal but the icon is still for the monorail. I haven’t been able to visit any friends for a few days now. I’m gonna log in daily so I can keep my weekly rewards, but won’t play again properly till I hear the bugs are fixed! ---

I got forced yesterday as well and I seem to be OK. The game did crash and shut down once and was crawling at one point last night for me but it seems OK otherwise. I can still build tacks but Waverly Hills stuff seems to be gone. ---

Observations are that if you downloaded the take down in the first few hours, you were hit and hit hard. If you waited a bit (and some variation on OSs) you didn’t lose anything, even if there were still glitches. There’s conflicting info if EA is going to release a fix or if you have to contact them directly and ask for help. Now that it’s after 5 on a Friday, I don’t expect a fix this weekend. Some people are reporting they’re able to get the equivalent donuts for the stuff they lost so they can repurchase it, but not a single donut more. I’m not a greedy person, but I expect a significant compensation in donuts (ie more than 10) above what I lost. I am mostly freemium, but I have paid for many scratchers. Plus I’ve been staying out of my town in case I screw it up more, so I have days’ worth of tapping, missing daily bonuses, missing friends donuts and KL SSY donuts or Rail Bonuses. ---

I’m on hold with EA Live Chat. Some users on the forum reported that they can get their game reset to just before the update and everything is restored. I hope I get a competent rep or can escalate it.
