Question: I am totally drawing a blank on how to start a new building in Springfield Heights. Where do I go to do so? ---

Should be just the Build menu, like you do for other houses and such, and go to the Springfield Heights section (looks like an elegant sign set in red brick). All the SH stuff you can buy is in there. If you’ve already built all of one item, however (like if you built all ten of the parking garages), it won’t appear there any more. Anything else should show how many you have vs. the max you can build, like “7/10”. ---

The ability to drop presents starts with the Gonna Find Out Who’s Naughty or Nice questline. This begins right after Homer starts building his giant snowman. ---

If you’re running on an android platform, I’d try going to settings/apps and clear cache and force stop the game. Maybe reboot your device also, just to make sure you’re running a fresh instance of the game rather than continuing one. I know it’s a bit of a general solution, but it’s resolved glitches in the past for me. ---

Are Patches and Violet playable kid characters inasmuch as they’ll be able to be used in any future assignment that kids can do? Or are they just the dang “click them and they’ll do a dumb trick” kind? ---

I just got Patches and Poor Violet and they are indeed playable, but as another posted noted, they do things as one. I am glad to be done with act I and can get a breather till act II. ---

I crafted and placed the irregular Christmas trees over the weekend. That is my challenge today as well, bit out won’t let me craft another, and doesn’t seem to see that it’s already there. ---

I discovered this when I accidentally clicked on Martin: it sent me on a task to “Search for the Perfect Christmas Tree” which he does in the Slightly Irregular Forest. (Need to do it three times.) So go tap on Martin: see if he has a highlighted task and hopefully this should fix it. ---

EA is aware of the crafting problem. I assume it will be fixed by the end of the week or hoards of screaming players are going to want their bonus donuts anyway. I hate when they make us craft something specific. Way to let us have an open sandbox experience. ---
