Wasn’t it Bumblebee Man? I remember Kent being all drama-queen-ish because of his missing danish, so Bumbleebee Man sat down to do the news. Also, Mr. Burns had a number of things, including a pickle jar he could not open and some garlic- (“No one will want to kiss me now, eh, Smithers?” “It’s their loss, sir.”) Question: In the Springfield Files (X Files episode), Homer comes across a Billboard saying what? ---

Scott Christian filled in for Kent Brockman, at least once, and with no comment as to why (as far as I can remember). Burns’ lunch consisted of one bullion cube, one concord grape, one philly cheesesteak, and one jar of garlic pickles. The billboard first appears to say “Die” (Ahh!) but really says “Diet” (Ahh! Ahh!). As long as I’m asking for lists, what, besides illegal fireworks, did Homer ask for at the Quikiemart while on vacation at Flanders’ beachhouse? What’s the name of the little green alien only Homer can see? What justification did Homer use when getting his new name monogrammed on his jacket? And what was his new name? That should be enough for now. “Homer no function beer well without.” ---

Oh no wait a minute. I remember someone (Marge?) saying you usually only get the initials, but Homer thought his name was so cool it merited the whole thing. I think. ---

Because “Max Power doesn’t abbreviate” and something about all the letters being equally important. Also, IIRC, later in the episode it’s revealed that “there are three ways of doing things: the right way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!” Alright! Osmodiar is the little green alien, and he does appear later to Bart at the cartoon festival. I believe the whole list was condoms, Wild Turkey, crotchless pantyhose, whipped cream, (illegal fireworks said sotto voce) and a disposable enema. No, two. Marge’s response was “I don’t know what you have planned for tonight, but count me out.” Max Power, because each letter is as important as the one that preceded it. So, close enough for full credit. 😃 Smithers’ blood type. That’s a toughie. B+? What’s Santa Claus known as in Japan, and where does he live? ---
