I’m going to trust the websites instead and go by what the other person said and not trust Redditors
This plan will help you with finding a belief, but won’t do much to help you find the facts. See also: false dichotomy.
You know what?
Oilasko ipurdia?

That’s “Chicken Butt” in Basque…
Knowing what I know about Basque Cuisine, and their multiple courses, I bet they would make use of paragraphs.
Why do you say this? Have you been in the Basque Country? Basque is spoken in the region’s bigger cities (San Sebastián, Bilbao, etc.) in people’s homes and on the street, and it’s spoken on local TV (broadcast news, shows, etc.) Also, the websites of Spain’s central government (tax authorities, etc.) are provided in several official languages, Basque being one of them.
OP was asked to break it up into paragraphs on that years old reddit thread as well
Edit: I meant primarily
So, you are saying that “even in Spain, it is primarily spoken in rural areas.”
Is that right?
Please answer my question: Have you ever been in the Basque Country?
Just because I haven’t been to Basque Country doesn’t mean I don’t know. I can always read websites. That’s what the internet is for!
No, it means you don’t know what you’re talking about.
This Wikipedia entry shows that content is broadcast locally in Basque:
If you search YouTube for “tv euskera” you can see and hear examples of content broadcast locally in Basque.
I’ve been there and I have friends from there, and the Basque people in cities and villages speak Basque (and Spanish and maybe French, English and other languages).
It depends on what part of Basque Country
Unless the internet disagrees with you, right?
Again, experiences vary. Also basque is overall a definitely endangered language. Vulnerable in Spain, severely endangered in France, overall definitely endangered
