This a “discussion regarding administration of the SDMB”, not a pitting.

Now, I thought these types of threads are considered considered “forbidden” joke threads in the BBQ Pit, and actually pissed off Lynne so much she started doling out temporary suspensions to those starting these threads there.
Has this policy changed? If not, then I don’t see why IMHO wasn’t the proper place for the thread.

While the nature of the thread made it suitable for either IMHO or MPSIMS, the content of the thread made it suitable for The BBQ Pit. Sorry, but sometimes a thread isn’t suitable for _any_ forum.

These “give me a list of insults” threads pop up every few months in one forum or another, and they’re always closed. Nothing new here.

Huh, I guess I’m so inured to dirty jokes and insults that it never occurred to me that it was closed because of the nastiness. I just thought it was closed because it was insults, in general.
Question answered, this thread may be closed at the mod’s leisure.
