It’s by the group Len. I don’t listen to the radio very often and I’m terribly out of touch with popular music (to my chagrin). But I could swear that the piano in that song is a sample from some 70s disco tune. Am I right, or am I nuts? And what’s the name of the tune that it’s sampled from? Thanks in advance, it’s been driving me nuts! ---

I love efficient, one-response-and-then-the-problem-is-solved threads. Still, I couldn’t let this thread sink to oblivion without wailing hoarsely, _Karen! I love youuuuuu!_ Best line from the song. If your name is Karen, of course. ---

i was lying on the grass on sunday morning of last week indulging in my self defeats my mind was thugged, all laced and bugged, all twisted round and beat uncomfortable three feet deep now the fuzzy stare from not being there on a confusing morning week impaired my tribal lunar-speak and of course you can’t become if you only say what you would have done so i missed a million miles of fun i know it’s up for me if you steal my sunshine making sure i’m not in too deep if you steal my sunshine keeping versed and on my feet if you steal my sunshine i was frying on the bench slide in the park across the street l-a-t-e-r that week my sticky paws were into making straws out of big fat slurpy treats an incredible eight foot heap now the funny glare to pay a gleaming tear in a staring under heat involved an under usual feat and i’m not only among but i invite who i want to come so i missed a million miles of fun i know it’s up for me if you steal my sunshine making sure i’m not in too deep if you steal my sunshine keeping versed and on my feet if you steal my sunshine i know it’s done for me if you steal my sunshine not as some and hard to see if you steal my sunshine if you steal my sunshine my sunshine if you steal my sunshine …or something like that (reprinted without permission from a website that probably posted it without permission anyway, so what the heck?) BTW: It IS “Karen” ---

Thank you, thank you, thank you! That’s been bothering me for a long time. I was over at a friend’s house a couple months ago and they had the radio playing at a low volume, and “More, More, More” came on, and I wanted to tell everyone to “Shut up so I can hear the name of this song!!” But I didn’t. It was probably one of those stations that rarely tell the artist/song name anyway. I knew I could count on the Teeming Millions to come through for me! ---
