Yay for Lidstrom. I can’t really claim it was his best season ever, but it was a bit of a week year for D, no one really played great all year to beat him. But man does he look gaunt without his pads right now. I guess all season playing 20 minutes a day burns the body fat pretty good.

I think Shea Weber was robbed. I have a great deal of respect for Niklas Lidstrom and he’s a Hall of Famer all the way, but Weber is the best defenceman in the league NOW, by a wide margin.
