You’re too refined and evolved to enjoy something as savage and uncouth as football. So how about you stop threadshitting in football threads and let us neanderthals enjoy talking about the sport we love. There are things I don’t like, like opera, or country music, or soccer. You know what I do when I see a thread about them? I don’t click on them, consequently you won’t see me threadshitting in them. As a Browns fan, my sympathy is all it should be. But I have a faint glimmer of hope that the Browns shit show is finally coming to an end. We’ll see after the draft and this upcoming season. Having the Steelers going through these difficulties gives me a nice warm feeling of schadenfreude. ---

As a Ravens fan, I agree, a Steeler fan whine is music to my ears…schadenfreude can be so sweet…that being said, not looking forward to facing the Browns in the next couple of season because, if they can finally get their managerial and coaching crap together, they’re loaded with talent and draft picks… ---

Not sure whom _you’re_ speaking for, but based on what you claim to “get,” I wouldn’t place any bets on the proposition that you actually DO “get it.” You do have a point, though. I should have just reported the thread to request its relocation to **The Game Room**. It wouldn’t have been up to me, of course, but I don’t see any reason to think the thread SHOULDN’T be there. ---

Seems to me that pointing out that LA isn’t a great pro-football marketplace, as has been historically demonstrated more than once, is not threadshitting. Perhaps the use of humor and irony confused you. ---

I originally thought kayla’s dad was making veiled criticism about the prudish attitudes of LA people. There was a period when LA had no NFL teams because of zoning fights or something. Maybe he’s still channeling that frustration and wishes the Raiders never moved back to Oakland.
