# The straight dope on Iams???

Does it occur to anyone that the reason the recommended Iams of 1.75 cups as opposed to 5 cups of Purina One is 1/4 less food per day?  
Check the calorie counts of whatever food brand you trust, then cut the amount you feed by a 1/4.
