A thought occured to me: back when GMail invites were being bandied about, Hotmail was one of the services that (conveniently) had a hard time receiving them. I sent my email to Shirley’s hotmail acct (as listed in OP) from my GMail acct. I wonder if that’s the problem? Anyone else that was unceremoniously ignored 😉 sending from GMail? ---

I’m in. I’m also currently in China so the gift will either be Amazon’ed or late from one side of the pond or the other. (I get back home Dec 18th. If I have to personally touch and ship said gift it’ll be airmail from Shanghai, and later or mailed from home, and also probably late. I’ll do my very best though, promise.) I have an Amazon wishlist of DVDs that I swear I’ll update soon. I have an lj with more information about me than anyone could ever want. A past sucess included a stuffed dog proptly named Cecil. I like sci-fi and the color green. And if anyone is willing to ship me a puppy, I like chocolate labs and golden retrivers. My true top wish for Christmas is a job. ---

I like long walks on the beach, dancing in candlelit rooms … oh wait, wrong thread. Anyway, I like books, the color purple, but think that regional stuff would be the coolest. I’m in. I just sent my email. I have very eclectic tastes and I generally like things that are rather quirky, but I take a specific interest in: Travel (esp. regional to my Santa) Nature/Outdoorsy (esp. state and national parks) Magnets (again, the quirkier, the better) Zombies Ballistics (esp. trebuchets, catapults, etc.) Geocaching If my Santa has an artistic bent, any homemade arts/crafts would be dearly cherished. At the risk of making a social faux pas, how rigid is the $10 rule? If I find something for $20-$25 that I feel would be perfect would it be acceptable to get it? ---

yeah, i used gmail and it was kinda shady or whatnot on sending to hotmail, so i used my hotmail address. YMMV ---
