I’m sending my best wishes to **FCD** too. I hope he can avoid the surgery, but at the same time, I can appreciate his feeling that he just wants the pain gone and is willing to do the surgery to have it taken care of.
Those maple buns sound yummy.
Also best wishes to Brody dog for his ‘ectomy’. Hopefully he won’t puke all over your car on the way home from the vet. That’s what my lab did after his little “surgery”. Fortunately, he was in the back of the truck, but the poor guy was just so woozy and sick.
I spent my whole youth camping, backpacking, and fishing. I loved it. I still love camping, backpacking and fishing, though I’m getting a little soft in my old age. I used to be able to sleep on a little roll up mat on the ground. Now, I need an air mattress. My poor back just can’t take the hard ground.
I better do some work now.

Is Ophelia still projected to cut across northern Flarduh and southern Jawja? Gettin’ ready to batten down the hatches, **Swampy** and **Puggy**?
Might be a bad time for either of you to go camping or canoeing…

What happens if we get 26 tropical storms/hurricanes in one year? Do they go back around to A? I can’t recall it ever happening. Off to the Weater Service …

I think they start using the Cryllic or Arabic languages for names. Just a thought.
Best wishes to **VunverVife** and **FCD**. My uncle has a long history of herniated discs, and he usually ends up with the surgery.

**FCM** : At least you’re scheduling it to happen. We sold one of our dog’s puppies to a friend, and they took him somewhere to get groomed, and he came home looking exactly the same… but without nuts.

because I really do feel like crap. I was up until 4:45 Am with the worst case of insomnia ever, and these ragweed allergies are killing me.

It certainly would. [Here’s](http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/aboutnames.shtml) a list of hurricane names for the whole world. Apparently, they only have six years’ worth of names, and recycle. Devastating and catastrophic storm names are retired, I assume to avoid confusion six years down the line. I think we can safely say that Katrina will not be on the list for 2011.
I’m also mildly offended that there has never been a Hurricane Jessica. My mother would disagree.

Ummm… **donkey** **FCM** did not schedule her hubby to be neutered today. He’s just gettin’ a shot in the spine. Unless, that’s just what she’s tellin’ him to get him to the doctor. :eek:

**Bobbio** I don’t expect much out of Ophelia in my neck of the woods. Maybe just some rain. Right now, it looks like she may not even reach land just hang out in the Atlantic and cause tropical stormy stuff along the Fl/GA/SC coast. However, we all know she could turn toward land at any time. I’m just keeping a watch over the next three to five days to see what happens.

Have you seen the models? Those things are going every which way! Best case scenario, lotta rain. In any event, Mr. Anachi checked out the generator over the weekend and I’ll probably gas up on my way home tomorrow.
Friday, The Princess[sup]TM[/sup] is getting all four wisdom teeth extracted and I’m providing transport so another day off. These three-day work weeks are killin me! 😃

Not really. I got my nose into No Sugar Added ice cream the 3rd week out. It was therapeutic…

Nah, my factory was closed down years ago - no need to get him snipped. Heck, he’s traumatized enough that his cat was fixed. The cat doesn’t seem to care at all.

Well, I _am_ sort of medium beige…
Mr. Lissar ate a cinnamon bun! He actually ate something I baked! I am aghast!
We’ve got two cup holders on our computer, too. They’re not spaced right for maximum beverage holding. I should write in and complain. I did know a guy who worked in tech support years ago, and someone phoned in to ask about thier cup holder. Ergh.
He also got a call from a distraught customer who said, “The computer keeps saying to insert disk three, but I had such a hard time just getting the second one in- what should I do?”
Ouch.
Lunchtime. Homemade pizza, ramen, or sugar and butter covered baked goods? So hard to decide. I should make bean and lentil soup today. I did pot roast yesterday but the meat didn’t soften up (shut up!) so I’m thinking of shredding it and using it in… something else?Any suggestions? I’m used to sticking shredded ham in things, but I can’t imagine putting shredded beef in, say, mac’n’cheese.
