Ow ow ow ow. Snorting ice cream. Ow ow ow.
Iāve just read the tonsil stones thread. I am simutaneously a) disgusted, and b) on the verge of poking at my tonsils with a q-tip.
Barbeque sammiches. Good thought. Iāll do that. Itās about two pounds of beef, so thatāll keep me (and Mr. Lissar, and assorted roving Husbands) in sammiches until Saturday.
I went across the street and got some dried lavender and made sachets and refilled my lavender jar. Envy me my exciting life. Actually, this has been the most pleasant do-nothing vacation I can remember since high school. Very relaxing.

Weāre back - actually, weāve been back about an hour and all is well, all things considered. Sweetie has the day off tomorrow - his boss is a good guy! We go back in 2 weeks for the next shot, and I guess at that time, heāll make arrangements for the 3rd shot. I hope this takes care of it. _\_

**FCM** you sold your porch swing? :eek: Why? Donāt yāall like to swing? Ok, I donāt have a porch swing but I do have a swing at my pool. Itās from the Martha Stewart (pre prison) collection. I loves my swing! Even in the Winter I like to go out and sit in my swing. Course we have many, many mid 60ās āwinterā days here to do so. I like to swing. Good to hear **FCD** is doing good. Hopefully the shots will take care of things and he wonāt have to do the surgery. Tell him prayers and good thoughts are headed his way from south Jawja.

Today sheās doing OK, but is grumpy from missing her pain meds, allowing her orthopedic pain to rear up; that is giving here more of a problem than the abdomen. Plus, sheās showing signs of a lupus flare. Fun fun fun, and not unexpected.
Best of all, Iām at home, so I donāt have to hear all about it. š

Glad the injection thing went well, **FCM**. Keep us updated on VunderWife, **Bobbio**. Hope the walking gets easier for her. And **Winnie** makes a good point about ice cream. Not for snorting.
Oh and **Rue** , I notice we havenāt seen any pictures of Brody lately. Perhaps you could take a few sometime post-ectomy. (And no, we donāt need a detailed picture of the ectomy site, thankyewverymuch.)

And it continues. Thank you for your touching apology. For some reason I am still unable to tear myself away from the game. Perhaps thereās a program or some type of therapy that would help? For your beef, you could also try [carne deshebrada](http://www.prochef.com/beef_2004/beef_4.html). Itās Mexican shredded beef. You can serve it with rice, in corn tortillas, with potatoes, as a sandwich. The link describes the basic version. Some people add dry red chile (chili powder, even), you can also add sliced stuffed olives, capers, and thin sliced almonds. I usually add just a touch of cinnamon and have also added red wine to the sauce. Itās basically a different type of barbecue beefā¦

Wifey had a meeting this evening, so I dumped some sweet chili sauce in a bag of boneless, skinless chickie breastes and left them to marinate for a few hurs and when Wifey got home she grilled 'em. and when I got home, i had a chicken sammich and some steamed veggies. Now that Wifey is finally home weāre having our second dinner of taquitoes. š

Fingers and toes crossed for **fcdad**! Iāve had spinal needles and theyāre not _too_ bad if the outcome is something good like say babies or relief from pain.
Tomorrow I will be taking the Princess[sup]TM[/sup] to have her wisdom teeth removedā¦all four. I hope that doesnāt mean she will need to drop out of college.
Speaking of the Princess, I think she might have them tonsil stones. Sheās always complaining about food getting stuck in hers. Should I tell her about them?
Oh, and it looks like Ophelia is going to hang around offen our coast for a while. Nobody seems to know where she wants to goā¦including her.

Still sending very best wishes for **FCD** and **Vunderwife.**
I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed when I was eighteen. Problem was, they couldnāt just pull 'em out, nope, no way. They had to break them out in pieces. Worse, the novacaine wasnāt working too well. Once I got home, I puked and ripped the stitches where my wisdom teeth used to be. It was not a fun experience. I turned black, blue, green and purple and was all swollen up. On the other hand, Iāve known people who had their wisdom teeth removed, and you couldnāt even tell theyād been through it.
Hmmm, thatās all Iāve got for now. I still havenāt had my quad shot Americano and Iām a little sleepy.

Speaking of wisdom teeth I have to go back to the dentist in October and ther are gonna tell me if I need to have mine out. I hate the dentist ā¹
Have I told the MMP how much I love my new job recently? I do love it (where is that sarcasm smiley) - the extra stress, responsibility, headache, hassle and general PITA of it all for the $65 a month they offered me last week (they take away a āfieldā allowence of $225 and say I got pay raise!)
I told personnel where to stick their $65 š
I am currently an evil bitch from hell from doing two jobs until the replacement for my old job gets here. I also made a field engineer cry by giving him his transfer letter a couple days ago. Ooops!
On the plus side all the big bad oilfield boys think I have a ragin case of PMS so they are all now treading on eggshells and generally trying not to piss me off. Aint working!
Sorry I am grumpy today.
On the plus I have a date tonight! š

Iāve been thinking about this, and I suppose if you had some freeze-dried (astronaut) ice cream, you could grind it into a fine powder and snort it. Not at all sure why you would _want_ to do such a thing, but hey, whatever flips your skirt. Personally, I like my ice cream hydrated, frozen and in a bowl.
I am completely oogied out by the tonsil stone thing. I do not have tonsils; they were removed when I was about 4 or 5, so I was blissfully unaware. I really should know better than to read the TMI threads, although the fart one was funny.
Healing thoughts for **FCD** and **VonderWife**. I hope they are both feeling better soon.
