I’m still thinking about snorting ice cream. Why am I still thinking about this? I have so much work to do, and I really don’t have time to obsess over silly things like ice cream. I was so busy last week it was all I could do to read the MMP, I never did get around to posting, and it’s a short week this week, so I’m easily as busy if not more so. But here I am, thinking about ice cream.
I wonder if they left me any of that Tin Roof Sundae in the freezer at home…

I’m back at work after leaving to take VunderWife home. It was a surprise to me that they kicked her out today, because I had an appointment of my own with the same surgeon yesterday, and I asked him about her going home. At the time, he said wasn’t leaning towards discharging her today. The bad part was that believed him, and I drove the Geekmobile instead of the Family Truckster. The Geekmobile is rougher for her to get in and out of, and doesn’t have her handicap equipment.
Oh well, she’s supposed to walk anyway.
She had a lot of the same nurses as I did, and it was funny to watch them warm up to VW after they figured out she was my wife.

I haven’t had the cinnamon buns there, but I have had the lunch buffet. Twice, because I thought, there’s no way a restaurant chain’s food could be this bad. But it is.

I was sitting at my wife’s desk this morning. It used to be my desk, but it’s bigger, so now it’s _her_ desk. Anyway, I had the feeling that I was being watched, and my eyes went to the pile of letters to the right of Wifey’s computer. There sat the biggest spider I’ve seen outside of a nature show or a pet shop. It was easily the size, if you include the legs, of a silver dollar. Not one of those cheesy Susan B. dollars either. A real silver dollar. And beefy. No Daddy long-legs, this one. A big beefy hairy brown spider was sitting there eying me. I could almost hear it thinking \*“If I can pull this off, I’ll be set **for life!** ” But I foiled it’s evil plan. I ran and got the fly-swatter of doom and smashed it. Ordinarily I’m a live-and-let-live sorta Bumba, but somewhere on my body, writ in invisible buggy script, is obviously a sign that says: **Free Lunch!** Everything bites me. Even spiders. They will go out of their way to bite me. So I don’t let them in the house. Period.

I had my wisdom teeth pulled when I was about 30. Got a massive hematoma on the lower right side. It was so tender I couldn’t stand to touch it, much less shave that side of my face. So I grew a beard. I’ve still got it. (the beard).
We don’t have a CiCi’s Pizza here, but that sounds an awful lot like Izzy’s Pizza. Terriffic cinnamon buns, buffet, etc. They used to have really great pizza, until some MBA at the head office figgered out that they could improve their bottom line by switching to really cheap crappy tomato sauce on their pizzas. Their pizzas suck now, but the fried chicken and other stuff on the buffet makes up for it, so we still eat there once in a while.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA, **bumba**! A very dear friend of mine often quotes the same thought process. If it makes you feel any better, and IIRC, spidey prey instincts prohibits them from going after anything bigger than they can reasonably handle and more than likely the thought process was more like “Aw shite! If the giant spots me, I’m a gonner!”
We do have CiCi’s here but I have never tried them. What I’m jonesing for right now is the Bacon Chicken Ranch Pizza that Papa John’s is advertising. Sounds nummy!!! I usually like the specials they run so Friday Cheat Night will probably be Papa John’s.
Mr. Anachi smacked his chin on the corner of the bathroom vanity in the middle of the night once. He needed stitches so couldn’t shave either. I made him grow a goatee. He looked real cute, if I do say so myself.

Oh yeah, and **FCD** slept in till almost noon. _Noon!!!_ But he seems to be feeling better now, if a bit stiff in the back. But then he’s almost an old fart, so that’s to be expected.

No problem! I wouldn’t want to get you sent up the river–we like having you around the MMP. Laundering money is better than laundering tissues–that tends to get a little messy.
CiCi’s has yummy dessert pizza! I like the one with apples, and the chocolate pizza. I’m not sure if I’ve had their cinnamon rolls.
**Bumba:** :eek: I don’t mind spiders usually, but big ones give me the heebie-jeebies. I found a big praying mantis in my living room a few days ago–it was looking at me like it thought I might be lunch.

I have a small spider story to share, too…normally i like them and let them live and leave them alone, but last night…I felt something tickling the _inside of my thigh_, looked down, and there was an ugly black spider climbing up my leg! :eek: I screamed, jumped, and brushed it off, and made my SO kill it.
Why oh why do they have to climb on you? What is UP with that? Especially on my thigh…not for you, Mr. Spider. :mad:

I have made another shirt. This one has a mandarin collar of black and red shot silk, and a cut-out over… uh… part of my chest? The cut out has a drawstringy thing around the edge. Drawstrings are an easy way to make things fit. It’s cute. I’m trying to decide if I should put sleeves on it. I may take it to work and ask my co-worker Jess’s advice. She’s sort of goth, and she has fantastic clothes taste.
Mr. Lissar is off until Tuesday, so I _really will_ make him take pics of all my new stuff. No excuses, like, ‘I need another nap, honey’, and ‘Can’t the cats do it?’. It was horrible, just _Horrible_! No internet, no e-mail, no \*nothing \* all of yesterday and until now. Do you understand the ramifications of Ashes without her SDMB, especially a non-MMP Ashes? Well, it’s just not very jake, that’s what (yay, I finally used jake in a sentence).
Laundering pants with clay in the pockets is not a good idea. Oil clay smears everywhere and never comes off and salt clay gets color all over, though thank goodness the clumps wash off even if the color doesn’t. Also, do not wear your brand new silver silk blouse on the day you’re teaching calligraphy with old-fashioned nibs and ink. One wearing before it was ruined forever, but my five dollar smock is spotless two years later.
You can have my wisdom teeth when you pry them from my cold dead gums.

**Bumba** the spheres look like fun! I want one. I want several. I want to have wars!
I’ve been sickly today. Some kinda stomach bug thing. It started last night and I sorta spent a great deal of last night seated upon the throne. I didn’t go to work today and have just laid around most of the day. Matter of fact, it won’t be to long before I go to bed. I told ACBG to stay away in case it’s something catchy. Good thing he wasn’t here when it started. I felt kinda ick at work yesterday but never felt really bad until last night. I’m feelin’ ok now, just still a little queasy. I’m glad I had some ginger ale on hand cause that helps.
We have Cici’s here. Sometimes we go there when the pizza craving hits bad cause we can pig out on a bunch of pizza. That’s a good thing cause it makes the pizza craving go away for a while. I used to have to get pizza three or four times in a week to get over the pizza craving.
**Lissla** I like the necklace. And that pic of you is good. If I didn’t like boys I’d be sayin: How _you_ doin’? 😉
I’m glad VunderWife is home **Bobbio**. Hope she’s feeling better real soon. The cartoon was funny, funny! I’m also glad **FCD** is doing better. Here’s hoping the shots do the trick so he won’t have to have the surgery.
