No one’s addressed the question of sound, and the short answer to that is no - a stellar explosion of any reasonable speed is going to move well above the speed of sound, so it’ll hit you before you hear it. This is undoubtably true of the stuff that the shock wave hits - namely, the Earth’s atmosphere. So you’ll see it, then you’ll feel it, then you’ll hear it - or won’t.
