speaking of superbowl commercials, is anyone familiar with the one that had a sexy, computer-generated robot that spoke about the virtues of canned food? I was too young to see it on television when it first aired, but I’ve seen it on anthologies of early computer animation.

Boo-urns. I want a Super Bowl ad to excite the senses, something Pepsi failed to do. That ad had no action and no funny. Really, what’s the point? Almost as bad as the Schick ad. I’ve seen that one before! This is the Super Bowl - NO REPEATS!

Is it just me, or did Pepsi shoot for the moon only to make it no further than Albuquerque? Man, their commercials _suck_.
The Budweiser/donkey one was cute, though…hehehe…so was that Visa/beach volleyball commercial they just showed. 😃

I am going to stand by my previous post… One of the things that made this commercial funny (to me, at least) was that I really wasn’t expecting the commercial to take the turn that it did. I was totally expecting some “Anti-Drug” drug commercial, regarding marjuana (you know, like the one with the little kid drowning because the babysitter was smoking pot).
Also, it seemed like iTunes and Pepsi were kind of giving the one-finger salute to the RIAA… and I haven’t been fond of the way the RIAA has handled this whole anti-piracy thing (and yes, I acknowledge that piracy is wrong and should be stopped.).

Have to go with Chevy Revolution so far, also.
Though, I must say, I really, really, really enjoyed the snowbeach volletball girls. I’d like to trap focus on her, if you know what I mean.
The last part of the 2nd quarter of the game is pretty good, too.

I love how all of the ‘fans’ on the field for this halftime show are going crazy for every artist on stage, yet the people in the stands can clearly be seen in the background just standing there, totally indifferent. With Justin Timberlake having just been on, I realized that there hasn’t been a single McDonalds commercial! YEEEEHAW!

… Wasn’t there a McDonald’s commercial near the very beginning of the game? I think involving a guy throwing a McD’s hamburger wrapper into the dryer instead of a fabric softener sheet.
Other than that, though… I think I am almost as happy as **BabaBooey** about the lack of McD’s commercials. 🙂
