Blurf… I didn’t even drink much last night, and I’m still blurfy at bedtime. Proof I’m gettin’ old 😃 Was fun night though, lots of cake and silly board games. Went to circus club with the full intent of doing some serious hule hoop practice, and pretty well wound up fallin’ asleep in a chair. Oh well. ---

It’s a 96 hour infusion, so at least it’s not like he’ll have this thing for months and months. If all goes to plan, just two dosing cycles a month apart will be needed. I’m a bit surprised they don’t just do a PICC line for each cycle, rather than implanting a central port. ---

**flytrap** maybe that should be a haggis sammich with a side of fart blossoms. That sounds like a daily special in hell’s cafeteria. Laundry is done and all put away. Shirts, however, still need to be ironed. Ain’t happened yet. I’m a lazy bear. ---

Okay, I’ve got something that is gnawing at me, I’d like to get some other opinions on this. So bear with me as I try to explain without putting too much personal information out there: I’m the oldest of the siblings, I’ve got 4 younger brothers; only one of them has children (I have two children, btw). My nephew is getting married next month. None of us have gotten an invitation. Our Dad hasn’t gotten an invitation. I don’t know, but that seems like a bad thing to do, etiquette-wise, especially not inviting his grandfather. It’s not likely that I could attend, but still it would seem that the immediate family should at least get an invitation. I’m wondering if we’re all going to get “announcements” in a month or so, that they are already married. If so, they will get a congratulatory card from me … and that’s probably all they’ll get. Geesh. Is that too harsh? I do realize that the invitations usually come via the bride’s family. The only reason I am even aware of my nephew’s engagement, btw, is because of Facebook. He did a really romantic proposal and it was shared on Facebook. In other news, I know what you mean about cooking aromas, **FCM** ; I’ve got some beef stew cooking right now and boy does it smell good! My daughter is off to the laundry room now, washing clothes. I’m enjoying a little “me” time. 🙂 ---

**Mr ems** is home! 😃 We went out for lunch and then I folded the clean towels and his dirty clothes are now washed and in the dryer. I am all caught up on laundry 😛 Plans are to be sloths for the rest of the evening. I have a spaghetti squash baking in the oven and I wil pull together a Thai green curry to go with it for lunches this week for me. Dinner will be chili as we have the required ingredients. I love Sundays. ---

**Herbs** if you don’t get an invite to the weddin’ but an announcement instead, then a card is perfectly fine. I am surprised that neither your father, you, and I presume the other siblings have not gotten an invitation. Maybe they’re just plannin’ on a small immediate family type thing which is fine, but they should at least tell y’all that, IMO. An evenin’ of chill time here as well. Dindin was peanut butter on saltine crackers. Gourmet all the way here! 😃 Tomorrow is men’s night over to the church house, so steaks are marinatin’ and beer is chillin’. Life is good. ---

Deheathenizing went well, and the class was fun (3yo kids are adorable, and this bunch actually had some attention span!). Minor mishap when I got up from tying one kid’s shoe, took a step back and tripped over another child (didn’t know she was right behind me!). She seemed uninjured, accepted being cuddled, and wound up falling asleep in my lap for a little while. ---
