I thought Webster was annoying, that laugh was driving me crazy, Corey Feldman really needs to grow up a little more and I’m thinking that Jerri will turn into a mega-bitch soon. Brandi seemed a little dumb, but I didn’t think she was all that bad.

Vince was much more mellow then I expected and I felt kinda sorry for him. Gabrielle and Hammer were cool though.

I liked the show, I’ll be watching it again.

Yeah, sushi was fun, grocery store was fun – but taking the brownies around to the neighbors? What a hoot! The expressions on everyone’s faces…

You and me too! I couldn’t stand his cackling. Also, what the hell happened to him? He looks like he’s about to explode. A pillow with just a little too much cotton in it…

It’s not all that funny, to be honest. Here in Texas, there is no tax on foods. Liquor and non-food groceries are taxed, and if I recall, possibly soft drinks, but that’s pretty much it. Unless it’s made in the store, it’s tax free, so she’s not a complete idiot.

Well, not copletely…

Same for Florida and Ohio. No tax on groceries. The first time I had to pay taxes on groceries was in TN and I was just as shocked as she was.

And there are some states that don’t charge sales tax at all. But judging by the way the others looked at her when she said “Is this something new?” California isn’t one of those states. Of course I’m sure at Hef’s mansion, she probably wasn’t in charge of buying (or even eating - oops) food. And to be fair, maybe she’s originally from one of those states that doesn’t charge sales tax (either on food, or not at all…) However, she just strikes me as someone who doesn’t do a lot for herself. She’s probably used to having someone else do her makeup, her hair, her nails, and her shopping and cooking. Just MHO.

Yeah, I’ll probably watch next week. :o

Not in Michigan either.

I haven’t watched any reality show ever but I may tune into this one.

I thought the show was incredible. I can’t believe it hasn’t gotten more billing because it will probably end up being one of the more entertaining and interesting reality shows to date. Seeing MC Hammer on the top bunk above Webster was priceless. The more famous-than-thou attitude towards Jerry, again, priceless.
Corey is a nice guy but so fked up it’s scary. Indicating that your interest in participating in the show is to revive your career is not the way to go. Asking your gf to marry you as a publicity stunt is not the way to go either. He’ll never work again after this show.
Hammer is really a great guy. He can almost make even this show look dignified. My guess is that his career will get a big boost from this show. Perhaps not musically but somehow.
The show will also go a long way towards debunking any notions that celebrities aren’t simply ordinary people.

Yes, **dorkus** , they are re-running it this weekend (Sunday IIRC). Check your local listings.

I just want to know when it was that Vince Neil turned into a cross between Jon Lovitz and Ron Jeremy.

I liked the first episode, which surprised me a little since I’ve never watched “the Real world” for more than ten minutes at a time without wanting to gouge out my own eyes. It was sort of nice to see all the old faces again, but please stop them from laughing…

I was surpised about the sales tax on food, as well. We don’t have any sales tax at all in my state (except for “meal tax” and various “hidden” taxes that are part of the purchase prices) and none of the states I’ve been to that _do_ have sales tax charge it on food or clothing.

Quote of the year most likely to never be uttered again (from Corey Feldman, after some of them refused to eat sushi off of a naked woman): “So then, Emmanuel, Hammer, and I decided to order a pizza.”

I feel sorry for the “stars” of the show, but what would’ve made it cool would be to put a few regular folks in there with them – hence making their lives “surreal.” Hanging out with other washed-up celebs isn’t surreal for other has-beens. I’d give a lot of money for the honor of ordering a pizza with Hammer, Corey, and Webster.

Yes, its a nice show. The sushi thing was pretty clever–serving sushi on a naked lady, I kept wondering if she would fart & what they would do .
