After reading the inane decision on the FTC’s regulation concerning the do-not-call list, I know now why telemarketeers call at dinner time. They have a chip which automatically dials numbers at a time that they are normally home. So, since they are normally home at dinner time, that’s when we get those infuriating calls. The House passed enabling legislation with just 8 dissents today. Hope the Senate approves very soon so that the List can go in effect as scheduled.

I’m not normally the gushin’ sort, but I must admit a sort of frank admiration for someone who can be so obviously violently angry and yet so controlled and pithy at the same time.

I hope that over the last three years **Cervaise** has come to terms with his ambiguous feelings about telemarketers. Waffeling this way isn’t emotionally healthy. He must take a stand one way or the other.
