I have guaranteed a mild winter! 🙂 I got out my 20-something-year-old [Sorel Caribou](http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3677199) boots. The fleece on the liners is falling off of the hide, so I ordered a new pair that arrived Thursday. (I’ll pull the rest of the fleece off of the old ones and keep them around for spares.) Since I have ‘refurbished’ my heavy Winter boots, there is now little chance that I will have the opportunity to wear them. ---

Here in south Texas, 2014 must be the coldest year on record, but I haven’t seen any figures. February and March were very cold almost every day, it never really got hot during the summer,and in November we had more cold days and nights than we usually have in a whole winter. ---

_It’s a sou’wester!_ :eek: The ol’ Pineapple Express is coming through. High winds, and it’s up to 58ºF at 0712 in the morning. There was a coastal flood warning in my email last night, due to high winds and high tides. I looked at the beach, but the road is dry. I can’t see farther down where they typically get the waves washing over the road. ---

Summer & hell, here. …twas a fucked-up balls dripping sweaty beads 31/C most of the day. Balmy ATM. Thermometer says its 28 and my balls are quiet. So they listen. Stay! And a handful – though I think Interweb opinions matter little – of raging loons. Lube that tube, **SA**. You simply rock. But I think it has more to do with sweaty balls. I can’t seem to find the version we had eons ago- where it ends with camels having square assholes to shit bricks, and that’s how the pyramids were built 😉 I don’t think Kipling wrote it though, too many out of period scatological references.
