In which **RNATB** thanks all the Dopers who deserve his thanks, except the ones he forgot. It’s been a long time (well, 4 years, which is a long time for anything to hold _my_ interest), so I apologise in advance for anyone I missed. To **DeadlyAccurate** and **GusNSpot** , who sent me things just because I started a thread about looking for them, and never asked for anything in return. To **Captain\_C** , who introduced me to the wonderful world of [Kdice](http://www.kdice.com), from which my productivity has never recovered. To whoever mentioned **WordBiz** in a thread, because playing online Scrabble is awesome. To all the people who fought my ignorance - **Q.E.D**., **Tamerlane** , **DSYoungEsq** , **GaryT** , **Rick** , **Liberal** , **elucidator** , **Gfactor** , **Sam Stone** , **Otto** , **Quartz** , **Colibri** , **samclem** , **Johnny L.A.** , **Elendil’s Heir** , **glee** , **jjimm** , **Tuckerfan** … okay, probably all of you at some point or other. God knows there was (and remains) plenty to fight. To all the people who made or make me laugh - there are way too many to name here, but know who you are. I’ll single out **EddyTeddyFreddy** , **Cervaise** , **Vinyl Turnip** and **Mangetout** , but again, pretty much all of you have probably managed it. To all the people who made/make me smile - **AngelicGemma** , **FairyChatMom** , and the rest of you fuzzy-wuzzy types. To **Shirley Ujest** , who came up with this username. To all the people who posted to my [“I bought a duck today”](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=241292&highlight=dutchboy208) thread, my favorite self-OP ever. Also to all the people who posted to my “Ask the sunglass consultant” and “ask the workers’ compensation defense paralegal” threads, for letting me feel wise for a day or two. To [bored.com](http://bored.com), whence came to me the blessing of The Straight Dope while I was working a crappy overnight desk job. To the Boards in general, for embarrassing the hell out of me when I yell things like “Cite?” and “Band Name!” in normal conversation. To Cecil. because he’s freaking Cecil, people. Jeez. To all the people who disagreed with me, for not being a dick about it (well, usually). And last, but certainly not least, to **Og** , through whom all things are possible. ---
