I think this thread just won the award for “most confusing to a new SDMB guest”.

AFLAC is _[evil](http://www.upc-online.org/alerts/020304aflac_duck.html)_, dontchaknow. (Incidentally, am I the only one that thought that this, as well as its [parent site](http://www.upc-online.org/) was a gag until realizing that, sadly, it really, really wasn’t?)

Won’t somebody think of the chickens?

Hey! You paid! Welcome aboard.

This board is the best thing Americans have for encrusted traditions that confuse the uninitiated. You Brits have your 500 year-old pubs, we have a 7 year old message board. My advise is: roll with it.

And avoid the goat if you can.
