They came after us because we pulled money out of my 401k to pay the mortgage after hubs had his heart surgery. The bank had properly withheld the penalty, but the IRS didn’t believe any of us and grabbed 10 grand for almost a year. We got it back but weren’t allowed to charge them late fees and penalties. Bastids. Hub’s phone, which he uses as an alarm, changed itself to DST last night, so he got up an hour early this morning. He made coffee, fed the cats, looked outside and thought it was pretty dark, then saw the time so stretched out in his recliner for a short nap. The cats woke him up at their proper breakfast time while insisting that he had only dreamed he had fed them earlier.
