Some people can afford better lawyers who think more creatively and will use every opportunity that their clients will pay for to delay there incarceration. Doesn’t mean that Holmes will serve less jail time…it just will be delayed on when she starts. Your average run of the mill citizen, cannot afford that kind of counsel or your typical lawyer will just tell you that you would be better off just starting your sentence now. ---
