Evening all. Boys lost 2-3 but played well. We have our last game on Saturday morning. Get feeling better, **Shady** **George** , so it was a good day when you let someone in and celebrated letting someone out… **Butters** , those monthly meetings will let you work on ‘sleeping with your eyes open’ skills. They’ll tire of them after a couple of months and find new ways to torment you… **Red** , sounds like your place of employment is well-fed. And try being around a farting English mastiff…:eek::eek::eek: **Nut** , yeah, getting stuck on the roadside is a sure way to watch the money run…glad you got it fixed in town. **Sunny** , hope the costume meets with son’s approval. So **swampy** , you’ve got a local place to crack your nuts, eh?? There’s no free air in Ali-bama, **Juliet** , it’s $1.00 to $1.50 about anywhere. Haven’t eaten since noonish, so will get a little sustenance and head off to bed soon. ---

Bubbles don’t grow on trees, Bub! 😃 And on the serious side I tried mine with an assortment of commercial and homemade bubble solutions and did find the stuff designed for those specific foggers to work far and away the best. For fog solution any of the standard ones work about the same. I just \*love \*getting stuck behind someone who drives \*under \*the speed limit… :rolleyes: Fortunately, it was just for about 4 or 5 miles - then he (she?) turned and I was able to proceed as usual. One tiny little thing to do this morning, then I’m out of work again. If Josh shows up, I’ll have some stuff to finish for him, but I need him to clarify a few things before I can wrap the drawings up. We shall see. Poor RoxStar was a crab last night. She got her 3 third-round baby vaxxes, plus a flu shot, and I expect that put a cramp in her style. On the plus side, she crashed early, tho I heard her crying as I was getting ready to leave. Poor babby… \*\*FCD \*\*will get home today. He’s a tad miffed because this software training has mostly been lecture. How idiotic is that??? You learn by doing and screwing up and asking questions, right? But things have settled down with work, so he should have time to play with it at home, and the company is good about answering questions over the phone or the intrarwebz. Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 50 Amurrkin out and clear (dark, actually) with a predicted high and N.O.S. for the day. Rain is supposed to happen tomorrow and Firday. We shall see. Insurance adjustor person is due to be here around ten this mornin’ to assess damage from Michael. Then we go from there, I reckon. No trip to the Pubic sto’ today bein’ as I have no need to lay in provisions. Tonight we sup upon baked ham (gonna bake a small spiral cut one), green beans, sweet N.O.T. and rolls. Outside of insurance person, I plan pretty much on sloth for the day. **flytrap** I have a similar pee-kahn cracker, but still prefer to get 'em cracked elsewhere. Hmmm… I could take the pee-kahns to get cracked this afternoon. We shall see if I motivate to do so. Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Happy Hump Day! Happy Halloween! I woke too early, damn bladder. Now is time to get up. Supposed to be a pretty day today, high near 70. I hope to get some yard irk done since I will be able to walk around the yard without _somebody_ trying to take my shoes while I’m doing it. I hope the daycare works out and wears his little ass out. It would also be nice to get some irk done in the junk room without _help_. Ripple thinks the junk room is _his_ giant treasure chest. Truth is, I’m likely to come home and crash. ---

**Red** , that outfit sounds lovely. I’m just wearing all black today, with a large black flower in my hair. It’s a little more than typical, but not like a costume. **Juliet Jr.** puked this morning. I’m sure she has what **Romeo Jr.** had over the weekend. I feel so bad for her. As she was puking, she kept crying that she’s going to miss Halloween. I’m torn. The strict parent in me wants to say, “No school, no fun.” The softie in my wants to say, “You can put on your pretty costume and go to a couple houses, but no eating the candy.” I don’t want to set the precedent that she can miss school and still have fun; but she’s really upset about it and she truly is not feeling well. ---

Blurfage! Back at irk, of course. I was gonna try to sneak out early today and still may. Tomorrow being the first of the month it is my only chance this week. The little kids from the Child Development Center across the street will come Trick or Treating here this afternoon. They supplied us with a ton of candy to hand out.
