As pointed before your calculations work by grossly ignoring most of the costs that society is willing to make in an effort to save the lives of the infected. And also when people do die. One can see it by looking at other sources. But we already know you do not deal with them, unless by pathetically shutting down a reporter that also looked for more respected opinions to say that Dr. Atlas is just about the worse people Trump can get, because Atlas knows better than what he tells to the president. So give it up, you were caught using one of the most naive of fallacies to defend your naivete that ignores that Trump is not getting better by adding hacks like Radiologist Atlas as advisers on what to do in a pandemic. I have seen this movie before when guys like Trump seek information from hacks about climate change, for example. ---

I have also followed the anti science brigade that is QAnon, years before I did notice how anti-vaccination was a subject that had a similar but small number of followers from both the left and the right alike, but the politicization and conspiracy theories set against scientific issues (that benefits the undemocratic powerful) does not stop with disparaging evolution, climate science, the evidence against tobacco use etc. QAnon is just the latest way to weaponize the cult of ignorance many Americans fall for. It was less worrisome when it was just against evolution, but the list is growing and now even vaccine use is being politicized as we speak. Guess what party is beginning to adopt anti-vaccination to that list with QAnon help?
