It’s only about 90% lie. The whole story (from memory, no cite): there were 2 DNC working group meetings – I think one was LGBTQ-focused, one was Muslim-focused – that were streamed but not broadcast. These 2 meetings began with the Pledge…and both dropped “under God”. Which is certainly their right. But jeeezus h christ, what a politically stupid thing to do. If they had omitted the pledge entirely, no one would have even noticed; it’s not like the PoA is mandatory. But they put a big flashing red light all over themselves and put a “kick me!” sign on their backs. ---

It shows promise but further research is needed. In short it shouldn’t hurt and may help but to what extent it helps we don’t know. ---

I think that for so many of people in Trump’s world, it really is about taking empty sacks to the White House and seeing how much cash and other shit they can fill them with before they are fired or prosecuted. ---

There might well be some ethical issues with doing more harm than good if this becomes wide spread. ---
