Trump tweeted today that he was talking to the commissioner of the Big10 college football conference, twisting their arm to get them to reverse their decision and play this fall despite the coronavirus. Other conferences (Pac-12, Mountain West…) made the same decision but Trump apparently is less concerned about the hopes and desires of those fans. You’ll be shocked Shocked! to hear why… The Big10’s footprint covers the battleground states: Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota. The Pac12 and MWC cover states that are solidly blue (California, Oregon, Washington) or solidly red (Utah, Idaho, Wyoming). ---
