Chaos and confusion are the point. But yeah, the sheer volume of criminality, unethical and non-normal behaviors is exhausting. Just today I was reminded that last year for 9/11, Trump was trying to engineer a meeting with Al Qaeda at Camp David. What words are there for such appalling effrontery? It still leaves me feeling ill. ---

I think you mean with the Taliban. Aside: My late father used to joke in Spanish that a family once got worried sick when they heard that a daughter was going to run away with “el Tal Ivan”. Turned out to be with a “Tal” (So-and-so) “Ivan” (Guy with a Russian name) ---
