Trump says White House (him) can overrule stricter COVID-19 vaccine guidelines that FDA might issue. Real reassuring. I suppose he can order them to release a vaccine made out of pea soup and pigs’ ears and they’d be forced to release it. ---

If there’s a debate, I think Biden would be well served by exactly one moment of looking at Trump when he says something, then Biden pauses, smiles, laughs, and says “What are you _talking_ about, that makes no sense at all!” Pick the moment carefully for when Trump is at full-ramble and just belly-laugh at him. That should effectively derail Trump for the entire night, not that he’s ever particularly on-rail even at the best of times. ---
