If I remember correctly, the plan was to have that new paint scheme applied to the two VC-25Bs (modified 747-8s) which are currently being refit to replace the current VC-25As which serve as Air Force One (which is technically the callsign for any USAF aircraft currently carrying the President). ---

So the new Senate convenes on January 3. The Georgia runoffs are January 5. I guess that means that, for two days, the Republicans will be down one seat because Perdue won’t be a Senator for those two days. ---

Actually, I didn’t. Not before there was a Biden Administration, anyway. I started a thread for it in P&E, for those interested in discussing the issue in a more polite way. I debated starting it in the Pit, which for my thoughts would be more appropriate. ---

The final decision on paint will be made in 2021 so Biden can change it, but he has not commented on it as yet.
