Now, of course, there’s an entire right-wing alternate economy: think tanks, lobbying firms, media (Fox et al), a public-speaking circuit, book sales, etc. A lot of it was initially funded by the Koch brothers and their ilk, but it’s going pretty well now even without the black money. In other words: as disgusting as it may be, Navarro and his fellow distorters of fact will be just fine. ---

Pretty much. And if Trump can “intervene”, it clearly is NOT a case that can’t be dealt with elsewhere, and so the Supremes don’t need to get involved.
