Like Barbara Tuchman’s comment on King William’s death from his horse tripping on a molehill, it’s an event that seems that it ought to bear symbolic significance but apparently does not. ---

As far as I know, anyone can receive a pardon for a federal crime. But some of the investigations are by the Manhattan District Attorney. and Trump would not be able to pardon non-federal charges. ---
