If he’s fired, then he’s fired. He can appeal to the MSPB to overturn his firing. Which will never happen. So he’ll just stay fired. ---

Yes. My grad students are astounded that the MoCA or Mini-Mental State Exam can be “bad,” but at that point in their training they haven’t seen someone with dementia or head trauma. ---

The point is to try to reach at least enough people in this group of 63 million and remind them that they made a potentially fatal decision to vote for this idiot. Standing next to the Doofus-in-Chief gave Fauci a stage he would not otherwise have had and made him a household name. While a lot of Trump’s base is going to follow Trump off a cliff like a herd of lemmings there are lots of other people who now know about Fauci and will continue to follow his advice in another forum. Yeah, I’m an optimist. It’s what keeps me getting up and going to work in the morning. ---

So in Trump’s telling, his doctor might also add “Trump is the most covid negative person in the world. He has the best least amount of covid, in numbers no-one has ever seen. China virus.” ---

He provided us with valuable information, and contradicted Trump many times at the peril of his own job. He did this even when Trump supporters were threatening his life. ---

They were probably quite sure that he would not be able to identify common animals or remember three numbers in a row. To be clear, if you “fail” this test, then it means that you are not competent to look after your own basic life affairs, and the court may appoint a guardian to look after you. It is the lowest possible standard to apply. This means that Trump may not be legally ordered into a care home.
