I can’t believe the extent of the meltdown and hero-worshipping of Trump by his supporters as if he is like Jesus on the cross. My god, the dude was in the public eye for 30 years before deciding to jump into politics and the very people who love him to death now probably rolled eyes for the majority of that time. I bet when George W. Bush was POTUS preaching “compassionate conservatism” through family values and faith-based policies that the antithesis of that vision was the sleaze ball attention seeking New York billionaire and reality tv host. I don’t know what happens to these folks after January 20th when the reality hits. The MAGA cult is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. ---
