I wonder what is going through Pence’s fly-bedecked head. Has he given up on any further political aspirations? If he plays it straight and just opens the envelopes, Trump will take him apart on Twitter. If he skips out on the event, Trump will take him apart on Twitter. If he tries any shenanigans, it won’t work but maybe Trump would “forgive” him and blame it on Democrats - not sure if Pence cares about the damage it would cause for him to make a fuss. It figures Trump thinks the vice president basically gets to pick the next president. ---
