I hope so. Pence had his family with him ( his wife, one of his daughters’ and her husband) at the Capitol when it was stormed, and they all heard the insurgents chanting “Where’s Mike Pence?” Man, you tongue-kiss the man’s ass vigorously for 4 years straight, indulging his every perverse whim…and the second it gets too kinky and you pull back a little bit he sends a lynch mob after you and your family. I’d be a little perturbed, too. ---

Yeah the rats are leaving the ship. They no longer have his twitter account to fear. He’s a tweetless tiger at this point. Clearly the president is losing his grip on power (and reality). What remains to be seen is who fills that gargantuan vacuum, though it won’t surprise me if he makes a comeback amid a wave of nostalgia in a year or two. ---

How can you issues any sort of pardon unless you also state what crime the pardon is being issued for? That would mean admitting crime or possible crime in the first place ---

Watched the hostage video a couple of times (I have nausea medication). His unseen wrists might as well have been handcuffed to the podium, for all the accordion-playing he wasn’t doing, but I noticed that every now and then he would gesticulate with his fingers to emphasize certain words or phrases. It struck me that it was an (unconscious?) signal that he was marking those words/phrases with caveats, much like he uses quotation marks for random words in his tweets. Or maybe I’m just reading into something that wasn’t there.
