The tell was, “I guess they lived in Palm Beach too,” like he wasn’t perfectly aware that not only had they lived there, but what their address was, their private phone number and probably the security code for the front gate. ---

I mean, it was the softballest of softball questions to someone who was actually innocent. The question brought up Maxwell’s connections to powerful men and mentioned Bill Clinton by name. An innocent Trump would have spent ten minutes going off on Clinton and Democrats and their horrible links to this horrible pedophile. A guilty Trump would have given exactly the answer he gave. ---
