A lot of those bodies then must be ordinary American Republicans. Not that trump really cares about any ordinary Americans, regardless of party affiliation. Other than possibly being concerned that he’s losing votes. ---

In Texas I have always understood absentee voting to mean early voting. You just go in person before Election Day and vote and you don’t need an excuse to prove you will be “absent” on the actual day. So I think the deranged one is saying absentee voting is still in person and therefore good. I am so nervous. ---

I think absentee voting is voting by mail because you are out of town (for example you are in the military or at your primary residence rather than your official one you keep for tax reasons) or you would have difficulty making it to the polls ( for example you are old and infirm and remember fondly the days of Jim Crow). Mail in voting is when you could vote in person but choose not to for frivolous reasons, like you’re lazy or don’t own a car or don’t want to die from Covid-19.
