The administration, for reasons unknown,[issued a coin](https://www.vox.com/2018/5/21/17377278/trump-north-korea-kim-jong-un-challenge-coin) to commemorate the historic meeting between the “supreme leader Kim Jong-Un” and the president of the US. A meeting that is now in doubt to [actually happen](https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/21/politics/trump-north-korea-south-korea-moon/index.html). So, now the president’s reputation is on the line to have something to point to as a success, meaning that Kim Jong-Un has all the cards. ---

Evidence of large-scale graft by the Trump family continues to mount. Qatar refuses to do a deal with Kushner Company, so Trump adds Qatar, a long-time key ally of the U.S., to a list of states sponsoring terrorism. Qatar agrees to buy Jared’s albatross — 666 Fifth Avenue, bleeding cash like a severed aorta — and is back in Trump’s good graces. China agrees to invest $500 million in an Indonesian theme park adjacent to Trump hotels and condos — and China is now the sweetheart of the month. And the list goes on. Unlike the Grant and Harding Administrations, where the man at the top was clean but incompetently surrounded himself with crooks, this is Donald J. Trump himself, along with his children and pwecious son-in-law, who are stuffing their gullets with bribes as fast as they can. Or is this just the Deep State and liberal MSM misleading me? I hope someone starts a thread in GD about Trump grifting so the Trumpsters can refute these charges. Otherwise we’ll have to believe that the U.S. has sunk to the level of the most amateurish banana republic (though the eventual scale of the robberies will be orders of magnitude bigger).
