Nothing like consistency being the stuff of…something or other, but after endearing China with tariffs, why not show the EU who’s the boss too, or something, with [some steel and aluminum tariffs](https://www.ctvnews.ca/business/trump-planning-tariffs-on-european-steel-aluminum-1.3952355). Maybe not the most neighbourly sentiment for this Canuck to impart, but with the gradual but inexorable implementation of the [Silk Road Economic Belt](https://www.sipri.org/sites/default/files/Invitation_1.pdf) (appy-polly-loggies for the pdf format) and Macron’s invite, earlier, for USA brainpower (could list a buncha other stuff but you get the idea), I’d have to Gallic shrug at the prospect of the US getting left behind, globally, in various political/economic arenas. ---

And FEMA claims Puerto Rico’s infrastructure has been crumbling for decades so it’s really their own fault. And the White House stands by these statements. And many Americans don’t even realize that Puerto Rico is actually part of the US. And so it goes and goes and goes. ---

Among Barr’s remarks about Jarrett, were that she was a Muslim. Jarrett’s not a Muslim. So a false accusation that somebody is a Muslim… …Maybe Trump doesn’t know which President he is. ---

My current guess with Melania is just that she is refusing to cooperate with Trump at all. Actually harming her is one of the few things I don’t see Trump going so far as to do. Well, not counting molestation, of course. But, yeah, that I’m even entertaining the possibility is ridiculous. This is still not normal. ---

It’s a way for him to feel they have more in common. ---
