The text translates as _The proportion of non-German suspects in all suspects is - as in the previous year - about 30 percent; the number has dropped to 599,357 in 2017 (2016: 616,230). Of these, 27.9 percent are immigrants, which corresponds to a total share of 8.5 percent (2016: 8.6 percent) of all suspects._ ---

[I’ve read the previous post [21723]. I have no idea what it means, so I’m ignoring it.] It seems plausible that the whole child-snatching policy was a ploy to get the freakin’ wall. Insert gif of Admiral Ackbar saying “It’s a trap!”. The administration implements a policy that everyone hates, then he gets his congressional minions to propose a bill that will remove the policy, but also includes funding for the wall. If I were an editorial cartoonist, I’d draw Trump holding a little Mexican kid with a gun to his head, saying “Gimme my wall or the kid gets it!” ---
