We interrupt this discussion on the benefits of breast-feeding, to remind everyone: Trump’s SCOTUS announcement is scheduled for prime-time tonight. Undoubtedly this was done for maximum drama and “showmanship” – I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump opens up an envelope with the winner’s name, who will then take the stage with music and applause, while the camera cuts to the loser, smiling bravely. The most effective form of Resistance to this - to hit Trump where it really hurts – would be to turn off your TV tonight. ---

He’s turned a corner. It wasn’t Obama, Clinton, emails; it was one of his bestest pals, a guy he has a fantastic relationship with, that’s bringing his Noble peach prize agreement down. Note: I do not for a minute believe he won’t backtrack and switch blame. ---
