So the RW punditry, like anyone with a weak argument, is falling back on their favorite play: the false dichotomy. We either let Russia have their way with our electoral processes, or you want war with Russia. There IS NO OTHER CHOICE. Well, yes there is…there are the options we’ve always had before the current collaborator administration took charge. ---

I also don’t care if other countries try to meddle in ours. I only care that we work to prevent them from doing so, and that is not what the current administration is doing. I can respect Vlad’s meddle. He did pretty well, and leveraged a pretty small amount of russian resources into overturning an election and setting himself up to profit massively from that. Good on, good on. But, trying to claim it didn’t happen, that there is nothing that we need to do to further secure our future elections, that’s a problem, Vlad is getting far more than he paid for now. ---

I didn’t get it submitted in time, but Bill Browder was on my 2018 Celebrity Death Pool list. I knew Putin was out for him, but I didn’t expect him to ask the President of the United States to hand him over. McFaul being in the crosshairs is even worse. I wouldn’t be surprised if the US interpreter was banished for a portion of the solo [del]meeting[/del] performance review. Turmp’s obvious deference to Putin, I think, had caused some GOP politicians to suddenly realize he is actually comprised. All in all, I think, the beginning of the end is brewing.
