I’ve seen some quotes from Christian leaders (no, I’m not going to find the cites now) comparing Trump to the Biblical King David. In the Bible, David is (I guess, I don’t remember from my Bible-reading days) a very flawed person who God nevertheless works through to lead Israel to greatness. So, for these Christians, there’s pretty much nothing Trump could do personally that would make them turn away from him as long as he Makes America Great Again and appoints conservative judges. ---
