Yesterday Trump had a big photo op to sign the defense appropriations bill, which is named The John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019. He never mentioned McCain. ---

Sarah Huckabee Sanders just said on TV that she couldn’t guarantee there was no tape of Trump using racial slurs. Can’t link right now, but I will when I’m able. ---

The new Defense Appropriations budget includes a provision preventing the administration from using any funds to recognize Crimea as part of Russia. If at all. But Trump SAID “You’re Fired!” and then she left. But then she ran back into the room crying and begging Trump to keep her. It was pretty sad actually. Plus, she really sucked as a contestant on that show. Always whining about something. ---

If at all. I don’t remember where, but pretty sure I read that Trump did pretty much make those calls himself. It could occasionally drive the director/producer/editor nuts to try and arrange the footage to make his decision line up with what people actually did. ---

And open racism may well seem like the best route to achieving that. It will get them to the polls and ensure that there will not be a Congress, come January 2019, that will vote to impeach. ---

Here’s at least [one site documenting his lies](http://projects.thestar.com/donald-trump-fact-check/), although the number (as of August 8th, 2,291) seems a bit low. I thought there were other sites out there, but so far this the only one I found that is apparently trying to document every single lie the CFSG tells. ---

Nitpick: The headline on that page says “Donald Trump has said 2291 false things as U.S. president” I want people to call them LIES, not mistakes miscommunications falsehoods untruths deception dishonesty disinformation distortion evasion fabrication fiction inaccuracy misrepresentation slander tale fable falseness falsification falsity fib fraudulence hyperbole invention libel mendacity misstatement obloquy prevarication revilement reviling subterfuge whopper tall story He tells lies. Call them lies. Don’t need any stinkin’ big words. And yes, I had help from a thesaurus. ---

There probably won’t be regardless- it takes 67 Senate votes to convict, and the best the Dems can do this cycle is 52, 53 seats. Sure, maybe Mueller’s case will be so damning that some GOP senators will be persuaded that impeachment is the only option, but I think it is just as likely that The Law and Order President will get a pass for any crime because, hey, he’s a Republican! Conspiring to defraud an election with a hostile foreign power is Nothing like lying about a blow job yanno. ---
